Jack Reilly broke into the Los Angeles art scene with geometric abstract paintings that depicted light, color, and illusive pictorial space, on shaped-canvas structures. A subsequent series of museum and gallery exhibitions led to him being recognized as an original artist of the Abstract Illusionism movement, and one of the foremost artists working in shaped canvas today. Widely known for his elegant visual systems, signature brushwork and meticulous technique, these works are executed in acrylic polymers on shaped canvas. The artwork displayed on this page represents an overview of Reilly's abstract paintings dating back to his early abstract paintings of the late 1970s.
