The Shroud of Turin is an ancient piece of linen 14 feet long, 3 1/2 feet wide with a distinguishing image running down the center. One major question remains unanswered; is it the life-sized image of the crucified Jesus as many believe, or rather the work of a brilliant forger using a technique yet unknown to modern science? Finding the answer to this question is the motivating force behind one of the greatest debates ever to pit science against faith.

Among an array of noted scientists, academic scholars and theologians, this film features Artist-Professor Jack Reilly (pictured on left) illustrating theories related to the Shroud's influence on the history of art and the mysterious image of a man depicted on the Shroud. This particular image may be primarily responsible for humankind's idea of what Jesus actually looked like.

Jesus and the Shroud of Turin is produced and directed by Reuben Aaronson in association with ABC/Kane productions, the Discovery Network and The Learning Channel (TLC). Distributed by Questar, inc. Available on DVD from Amazon.com.
