"Speak with Authority" is part of a developing series of proposals for multimedia installations to be installed at historic sites around the world. The piece consists of a mixture of traditional and new media art materials, including a large slab of Italian marble with three color LCD flatscreen monitors embedded within the stone, and a computer processing unit contained within the fabricated Doric column remnant. A series of digitally generated video works produced by Reilly perpetually display time-based imagery. Electricity is brought in through an underground cable to power the electronic equipment.
